UDHAMPUR, June 9: A youth drowned while taking bath in the Ghambir Nallah at Majalta, here today today.
The deceased was identified as Amit Singh (22), son of Balbir Singh of village Amwara in tehsil Majalta.
He was taking bath in the Nallah along with another friend when he drowned. The body was fished out later and shifted to Primary Health Center (PHC) Majalta.
Meanwhile, Police has initiated inquest proceedings into the death, which took place under mysterious circumstances and further investigation is going on.
