Youth dies after jumping into well, another hangs himself

SAMBA, Dec 1: A youth died after jumping into the well near his house at Arazi in Samba district late last night while another hanged himself with ceiling fan in Rapiar village of same district.
A youth died after jumping into a well in Arazi village of Samba district late last night.
He has been identified as Bablu Singh, Son of Babu Singh resident of Arazi Samba.
According to the Police, during the intervening night suddenly he jumped into the well near his house at Arazi in Samba district under mysterious circumstances. Family members immediately informed the police. After receipt the information a police party of Police Station Samba headed by Inspector, Chanchal Singh, SHO, Police Station Samba reached on the spot and started rescue operation but the body of the deceased was not found during the night hours.
Today early in the morning the police party of PS Samba along with SDRF team again started rescue operation and recovered the body from the well and shifted to mortuary room of District Hospital Samba for autopsy. After autopsy the body of the deceased was handover to the family members for last rites.
In this regard police has taken cognizance the matter and started investigation.
Meanwhile, a boy hanged himself to death under mysterious circumstances at his residence in village Rapiar Camp in district Samba today.
The deceased has been identified as Rajan Kumar, 22, son of Babu Ram resident of village Raipar Camp Samba.
Police said the boy hanged himself with ceiling fan hook under mysterious circumstances at his residence today afternoon when family members saw him hanging with ceiling fan hook, they immediately informed the police.
After receiving the information a police party from PS Samba reached the spot and brought him to District Hospital Samba where doctors declared him as brought dead. The body of the deceased person was shifted to mortuary room for autopsy.
In this regard police has taken cognizance the matter and started investigation.
