UDHAMPUR, May 5: A youth committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in fields near village Bagglia Darsoo, here today.
The deceased has been identified as Sunil Kumar (20), son of Charn Dass of village Kuperla Ritti. He was found hanging from a tree under mysterious circumstances. Some locals spotted the body and immediately informed the Police Post PP Roun Domail.
IC PP Khyatiman Khajuria rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case under Section 174 RPC for further investigation.
