UDHAMPUR, Jan 27: A youth attempted self immolation by setting himself on fire at his residence in village Sanoor, Udhampur, here today.
He has been identified as 19-year-old Rajender Kumar son of Krishan Lal. He was rushed to District hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of his critical condition.
Cause behind the provocation could not be ascertained while Police has registered the case for further investigations.
