JAMMU, May 2: A youth was attacked today with sharp edged weapons by some miscreants in Kot area of city outskirts.
According to the reports, a youth identified as Reshav Sharma (23) son of Shan Lal, a resident of village Kot, Mohalla Badhani, falling within the jurisdiction of police station Gharota, was attacked by four unknown miscreants over some old rivalry near his residence, this morning.
The victim received serious injuries on his arms and forehead and was immediately rushed to Government Primary Hospital, Bhalwal, from where he was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable.
A case in this connection was registered at police station Gharota and investigations were on to nab the accused persons one of whom has been identified as Naseeb Ahmed son of Noor Ali, a resident of village Kot.
