JAMMU, June 12: A youth was attacked yesterday by some unknown persons with sharp edged weapons in Domana area of city outskirts, following which an attempt to murder was registered today by Domana police.
According to a police official, a youth namely Mukesh Kumar son of Tilak Raj, resident of Machine Domana, received minor injuries on his knees and elbows after three to four unknown miscreants allegedly attacked him with sharp edged weapons near his residence.
He said that the injured youth was hospitalized and discharged later. “On the complaint of the victim, a case FIR No 210/2018 under Section 307 RPC has been registered at police station Domana”, he said, adding, no arrest or seizure of weapons of offence could be made till now while investigations in the case were on.
