UDHAMPUR, Aug 26: In another incident of bear attack, a youth was attacked by the wild animal at village Pattan Ghar in tehsil Chenani.
The victim, identified as Mahinder Singh (18), son of Krishan Singh of village Pattan Ghar, was returning home after grazing goats and sheep from nearby forest area when the bear suddenly attacked and left him seriously injured.
Villagers took the injured to SDH Chenani, where doctors referred him to District Hospital Udhampur. In the last three days, this is the second such incident of bear attack in the area.
