WHAT IS REIKI … Reki is an art of healing and master Dr. Mikao Usui from Japan was the founder of this spiritual way of healing used as a complementary therapy for the treatment of physical, emotional, and mental diseases.
The word REIKI is composed of two words … rei == universe ; ki == energy.
So the Reiki is the energy of the universe which is channelized through the hands of a learned Reiki healer or therapist .
As it has been said by swami YOgananda in his book —“ the autobiography of a yogi “ that our fingers like antenna can feel and receive the energy from the universe and manifest any thing depending upon how strong our intention is and by focusing on our will power we can consciously enhance the body’s supply of cosmic energy which can be delivered not only to the any part of the body of self but to any one who needs it at distance also through the tips of our fingers .
How Reiki Works — Reiki works on the principle of energy as we all know that we are nothing but only Energy . Our soul at microcosmic level is part of macrocosm we call as Paramatma , so we all are connected irrespective of caste and creed all over the world and even in the higher dimensions also . so depending upon the fact that how much healing energy you can harness in you and then deliver through your hands via your thoughts .
As said by the famous scientist NIKOLA TESLA …” if you want to find the secrets of the universe , think in terms of energy , frequency and vibrations “.
The beauty of Reiki is that more we heal others, more we also get healed. These days people have even started calling it as energy medicine and Reiki helps to heal at subtle levels.
It heals body , mind and soul. Brings a person back to home means back to self and soul and one can learn to live in a soulful manner .
So in a way , Reiki is a spiritually guided life force energy from the universe .
