JAMMU, Nov 29: Defeating Abhishek convincingly in the summit clash, talented cueist, Younis Kuchey emerged champion in the 2nd Six Red Ball State Championship, organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
After the final match, the prize distribution function of 25th Sub Junior, Junior and Senior Billiards and Snooker Championship took place, wherein Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta was the chief guest, who distributed prizes among the winners on the occasion.
While speaking, Mr Gupta assured all his help in providing all the required facilities the Association and the players. Secretary J&K State Sports Council Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra was the guest of honour, who promised to upgrade the required infrastructure.
Earlier, chairman JKBSA presented welcome address.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Owais Mir, Kulbir Charak, Ravi Singh, Satish, Arun Gulati, Rajesh Sharma, Vishal Abrol, Jaideep Manocha, Umar Himayun, Nikhil Kaphai, Ishuk Chowdhary and Sohail Khalid.
