UDHAMPUR, Feb 17: A young house wife committed suicide by hanging herself from ceiling fan hook at the house of her in-laws at village Sambal in Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as Champa Devi (30), wife of Jayapal, resident of village Sambal in Udhampur. She was found hanging from fan hook under mysterious circumstances. Family member noticed her hanging and immediately called the Police, which shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem and other legal formalities.
Cause behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
