KATHUA, Jan 24: A young house wife committed suicide by hanging herself with the ceiling of her room at her residence in village Chankher 20 kms away from Basholi this morning.
She has been identified as Seema Devi, 22 wife of Ajay Kumar. The Basohli Police has registered a case under Section 174 and started investigation.
The dead body was handed over to family members for cremation after postmortem by the police.
