JAMMU, Jan 6: In an exciting contest, Young Hero’s got the better of Hero Club by a solitary goal, while Sayeed Football Club defeated Poonch FC by three goals to two (3-2) in the ongoing Football Tournament at GGM Science College Football Ground, here.
In the match between Young Hero’s and Hero’s Club, Deepak Sangral was the goal scorer for Young Hero’s in the 65th minute.
In another match, Sayeed FC prevailed over Poonch FC in a close contest by (3-2). The goal scorers for Sayeed FC were Ashiq Bashir, Inamul Hassan and Murtaza Ali, who netted the goals in 24th, 29th and 69th minutes, while Agrin and Ankush scored the goals from Clemrat FC in 53rd and 64th minutes.
The matches were officiated by Suresh Gupta, Dheeraj Meenia, Rahul Sharma, Moon Stephen, Ricky Kumar, Romesh Kumar and Danish Verma.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Katra FC will take on Titan FC Anantnag at 9 am at the same venue.
