UDHAMPUR, Oct 1: A young girl committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances at her house in village Mani of Ramnagar.
The deceased was identified as Sonu Devi (21), daughter of Krishan Lal. She allegedly consumed some poisonous substance and fell unconscious. Family members took her to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred her to GMC Hospital Jammu. However, she breathed her last before reaching Jammu and GMC Doctors declared her as brought dead.
Cause behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Ramnagar Police has registered a case in this connection.
