JAMMU, Jan 28: The Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj held an interactive session here today.The interactive session termed – “PM’s Return, Relief and Rehabilitation Package of Kashmiri Pandits  a mere eyewash and demanded a re-look into the entire structure of the package after a serious dialogue with the concerned representatives of the community.
H N Jattu  senior KP leader and president – AIKPC was the chief guest on the occasion while as B L Saraf (retd. Session Judge), P L Koul Badgami,  convenor, Kashmiri Hindu Conference and  A K Diwani, were the guests of honour.
R. K. Bhat, president YAIKS in his key note address said, it’s unfortunate to see the unattended, casual and disgusting approach of the Government with regard to the ultimate and one time settlement of the community who are refugees in their own country and are living exiled life for last 29 years.
He demanded one time compensation of Rs. 50 lakh in favour of over aged youth of the community who are the first victims of the terrorism and displacement and have had been ignored by the Government time and -again. All Valley Posted Migrant Employees (VPME) be treated at par with other Kashmiri migrant employees till the normalcy is restored and the “YAIKS-Vision Document”  be implemented with letter and spirit.     The remaining posts out of PM’s sanctioned 15000 jobs should to be given with the procedure of “one family one job”.
H. N. Jattu in his address said that it’s high time for community youth to come forward and take a lead in highlighting the miseries of exiled community.
B. L. Saraf said that the burning issues like over aged youth problem who are the most neglected lot of the community Government should solve their issues on the priority.
P. L. Koul Badgami said that present dispensation at State and Central should immediately address the core issues of the community otherwise we will forced to launch decisive struggle.A K Diwani said the community youth should become self reliant by establishing their own business ventures with the active support a of the Government.
Sanjeev Koul – Member Core Committee – YAIKS presented opening remarks while Manoj Handoo, general secretary managed stage. Others who addressed including Ajay Safaya, Vinod Bhat, Vimal Ji, Sunil Bhat, Rakesh Dhar, Nidhi Saproo, Princy Ji, Seema, Simi Bhat, Sonia Bhat and Ravinder Ji. Sanjay Ganjoo presented the vote of thanks.
