Wushu players Munazeh, Riya bag gold in 63rd NSG

JAMMU, Dec 7: Two ace Wushu players from Jammu and Kashmir namely Munazeh Gazi and Riya Singh Chib secured gold medals in the Under-17 Girls category in the 63rd National School Games (NSG) held at Guwahati in Assam recently.
Munazeh Gazi secured gold medal in the below 56 kg defeating Delhi girl in the summit clash, while Riya Singh Chib defeated Assamese girl in below 65 kg in the title clash and secured gold medal. Both the players have brought the laurels for the state in the prestigious event of School Games Federation of India (SGFI).
The State contingent was sponsored by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, J&K.
The Director Youth Services and Sports and the office bearers of Wushu Association have lauded the efforts of these players for this achievement.
