KATRA, Apr 12: Prof Abhinandan Jain, Adjunct Professor, SoB, SMVDU, and Professor at IIM Ahmedabad, conducted a week long workshop on ‘Case Writing and Case Method of Teaching’ for the faculty members and research students of the School of Business, Faculty of Management.
Having specialization in the field of product promotion and distribution management, strategic marketing and quantitative models in marketing, Prof Jain has taught at IPMI, Jakarta, Indonesia; and Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal besides, IIM Ahmedabad. He has written more than 60 cases in the different areas of management education alongwith number of research papers.
Prof Jain emphasized on imparting skills to the students of MBA as only disseminating knowledge is not adequate in present era of digital world for the students of management programme. He arranged deep analytical sessions for the participants with the aid of three comprehensive case studies written by him and other authors.
