JAMMU, Feb 6: A one day workshop/orientation course on IQAC/API was organized today by Higher Education Department in GGM Science College, Jammu.
Director Colleges, Higher Education Department , Dr Renu Goswami was chief guest on the occasion. Ginny Dogra, Dy Director, DIQA, University of Jammu, and Rainoo Bhaii, Asstt. Registrar CDC, JU, were the resource persons for the workshop.
Prof. R S Jamwal, Convener IQAC of GGM. Science College, Jammu and the organizing secretary of the workshop, apprised the participants of the proceedings to follow.
Ginny Dogra detailed the guidelines of UGC regulations issued on June 2010, regarding the PBAS and API scores. Her lecture was followed by interactive session. In the post lunch session, Dr Rainoo Bhaii gave detailed account of API 4th amendment of UGC regulations released on 11th July 2016.
Participants were given case studies for perusal and deliberations on various queries were made which was followed by detailed discussions.
A detailed report on the programme was prepared by Dr. Alpana Vohra, Dr. Chanchal Angral and Prof Chetna Mahajan. Vote of thanks was presented by Dr K K Sharma.
