KATRA, Oct 29: As part of the upcoming Annual Technical Festival – Titiksha 2017, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University organized two-day Advance Robotics Workshop on October 28-29. The workshop was hosted and coordinated by Team Titiksha, especially under the aegis of the Schools of Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Mohd Amman Shamshi – a noted robotics-expert from SYSRO Technologies Pvt Ltd was the resource person of the 2-day workshop. He efficiently laid emphasis upon embedded system based line-following robotics, blue-tooth backed robots; advance humanoids, ASIMO-robotics etc.
The event was held under the proficient guidance of Dr R K Jha, president Board of Professional Activities. The student coordinators were Aryaman Singh Wazir, Ashotosh Khajuria and Apaar Khajuria. More than 80 students participated in the workshop. The workshop will have a significant impact upon the students aspiring to undertake their projects in the field of robotics.
