Worker are backbone of party: Khanna

JAMMU, July, 16: BJP national vice-president and Prabhari  Jammu & Kashmir , Avinash Rai Khanna today emphasized on the indispensable role of party workers and termed them as backbone of the party.
Addressing the meeting of Assembly Constituency incharges here at BJP Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Khanna laid emphasis on the essential and indispensable role of ground level party workers and said that the party workers essentially function as its backbone.
BJP State president ,Ravinder Raina along with MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP (Rajya Sabha) Shamsher Singh Manhas, former Minister, Sat Sharma and State general secretary, (Org.) Ashok Kaul were also present in the meeting.
He prompted Constituency Incharges to pay importance to the suggestions and feedback given by the booth level party activists as they have all the power to win the hearts as well as votes of masses.
He also urged the Constituency incharges to devote more time to their allotted constituencies and stay there to have firsthand knowledge about the local concerns. He said giving correct, efficient and timely feedback is the responsibility of these incharges and thus they stand duty bound to ensure party’s win in every election.
BJP State president, Ravinder Raina said that the nation has suffered enough due to the anti-national policies of previous Congress led Governments and now the BJP is working hard to heal those wounds. He stressed that with its public centric, pro-poor policies, BJP has fulfilled the dreams of millions of people who were earlier ditched by other selfish parties. He prompted the incharges to form fool proof strategy in their allotted constituencies to ensure party’s win in coming elections.
Ashok Kaul in his address, sought ground level reporting from the senior leaders of the State who have been allotted various constituencies to review and monitor the preparations regarding approaching elections and discussed all the points raised by the Constituency Incharges.
Yudhvir Sethi, Dr. Narinder Singh, Pawan Khajuria, Harinder Gupta, Ghulam Ali Khatana, Sanjay Baru, Anil Parihar, Chander Mohan Gupta, Altaf Thakur, Somraj Khajuria, Jugal Kishore Gupta, Daljit Singh Chib, Sunil Sharma, Priya Sethi, (MLAs). MLCs, Vikram Randhawa,  Vibhodh Gupta, Pardeep Sharma, Surinder Ambardar and Girdhari Lal Raina, Rashpal Verma, Rajinder Singh Chib, Subhash Jandial, Munish Sharma were also present in the meeting.
