Work remains paralyzed in courts for 7th consecutive day

JAMMU, Apr 10: The work in all the courts, Revenue Courts, Tribunals and Commissions including High Court remained paralyzed for seventh consecutive day.
The members of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association (JKHCBA) staged protest in the District Court Complex, Jammu in support of their demands.
The leaders of Vishav Hindu Parishad (VHP) also attended the protest and supported the demands raised by the JKHCBA vis-à-vis the call of Jammu Bandh tomorrow.
BS Slathia, Senior Advocate and President of the Association appealed to all the leaders of the civil society to make the Jammu Bandh a great success.
Slathia further appealed to the Jammu people that they should keep in mind that during the Jammu Bandh no untoward incident should take place. He cautioned that the people should remain vigilant and watch that no anti-national element should enter in our peaceful Jammu Bandh. He further said that the brotherhood and communal harmony should be maintained at all costs.
Sachin Gupta, Vice President, Prem Sadotra General Secretary and other office bearers of the association were also present during the protest.
The office bearers and members of the Bar Association had a round of Jammu city and met different leaders of the civil society and traders of all the bazaars in connection with tomorrow’s Jammu Bandh, who assured their full support to complete Jammu Bandh tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the work also remained suspended today Kathua, Samba, Udhampur, Bishnah, Reasi, Basholi, Hiranagar, Bhaderwah, Billawar, Akhnoor and other Muffasil Courts of Jammu province.
