JAMMU, Apr 12: Jammu and Kashmir Women Hockey team left to participate in the 7th Hockey India Senior Women National Hockey Championship 2017, being held at Rohtak, Haryana from April 13 to April 24, 2017.
The team was flagged off by MY Kitchloo, Staff Officer J & K Police, who distributed tracksuits and uniforms among the players in presence of Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, who was guest of honour on the occasion.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Rajinder Singh, Jaswant Singh, GS Bakshi and Sukhdev Singh.
The team: Anjali, Rishu, Shallu, Amandeep, Baljeet, Chitra, Pooja, Gargi, Impreet, Manu, Manpreet, Urvashi, Jasmeet, Maheeka, Nissam, Sonia, Deepmala and Payal.
Harbans Singh and Tahira Parveen are accompanying the team as manager and coach respectively.
