RAJOURI, Apr 1: An elderly woman was murdered during a group clash at village Pamrote in Surankote area of district Poonch today.
Police sources said that during clash between the two families over some land dispute at Pamrote village this evening, one Zubeda Begum, wife of Mohd Sadiq, resident of the same village was seriously injured. She was allegedly attacked with some lethal weapons by Allah Ditta and his wife Shah Banoo.
The injured woman was rushed to Sub District Hospital Surankote where doctors declared her as brought dead. Her body was sent for postmortem. The police party from Surankote rushed to the village and arrested both husband and wife and registered a murder case against them.
