JAMMU, Feb 4: A woman has been arrested with illicit liquor from village Kotli Charakan, falling under the jurisdiction of Bishnah police station.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Bishnah police station conducted raid in village Kotli Charakan.
During the raid, police recovered 15 litres of illicit liquor from the possession of a lady and arrested him on the spot.
The woman has been identified as Santosh Kumari, wife of Bittu, a resident of village Kotli Charakan.
A case under FIR Number 28/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station Bishnah and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Paramjit Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
