JAMMU, Mar 14: A young woman was found hanging today at her residence in Krishna Nagar Colony falling under the jurisdiction of police station Bakshi Nagar.
“The deceased woman identified as Karisma (23) wife of Sanjay Kumar, resident of Krishna Nagar Colony, was found hanging early this morning from the hook of the ceiling fan at her residence,” a police official said.
He said after postmortem the body was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites while a case in this connection was registered at police station Bakshi Nagar under Section 304 B RPC.
