JAMMU, Apr 11: A woman from Chattisgarh today died under mysterious circumstances in Channi area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, the dead body of the woman identified as Susheela (30) wife of Amar Dass, resident of Chattisgarh (at present Mattoo Colony, Marble Market, Channi) was found this evening at her makeshift house (Jhuggi), under mysterious circumstances.
He said the dead body was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for postmortem to be conducted tomorrow. “In this connection, inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC have been initiated at police station Channi Himmat”, he added.
