JAMMU, Apr 11: Bishnah police arrested a woman along with illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bishnah Police Station conducted raid in Chumbian Jattan area and apprehended a woman along with 50 litres of lahan and raw material of illicit liquor.
The team also recovered 15 litres of illicit liquor from the possession of the lady, which has been seized.
The accused lady has been identified as Raj Rani, wife of Tilak Raj, a resident of Bishnah.
A case under FIR Number 76/18 has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Rajesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Sourabh Prashar, SP Headquarters RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
