SRINAGAR, Jan 13: With a view to encourage winter sports and to provide platform to winter sports athletes, in order to pursue their sporting goals, the Winter Games Association of J&K has framed its Activities Calendar for the forthcoming season.
The Association is holding several District Level Championships in Alpine Ski, Cross-Country Ski and Snowboarding from January 16, 2017.
A State Level Cross-Country Ski Expedition will also be held from February 1, 2017. The State Winter Games will be held in February followed by a Pre-National Coaching Camp.
The association will field its contingents in all national level championships. All these activities will be sponsored by J&K State Sports Council.
