JAMMU: General officer Commanding of Jammu-based White Knight Corps Lt Gen Paramjit Singh on Tuesday visited forward posts along the Line of Control (LoC) and reviewed operational preparedness and security situation, officials said.
The corps commander visited forward posts in Poonch, Krishna Ghati and Sunderbani sectors where he was briefed in detail by commanders on ground on current operational and security situation and the preparedness of the formations in dealing with the same, a defence spokesman said.
He said the GoC also visited Ace of Spades Division, Rajouri and Cross Swords Division, Akhnoor where he was briefed by both the division commanders. (AGENCIES)
