When Govt fails a devotee of Mata takes onus to reconstruct Jawala Ji temple

SRINAGAR, Oct 4: Taking onus to himself a staunch devotee of Mata Jawala Ji has taken up in hand the construction work of the holy temple at Khrew in South Kashmir district of Plasma which gutted in devastating fire nine months back.
The sacred place is buzzing with the reconstruction activity started by the devotee with the help of some Karsevaks after the Government and all stakeholders failed come forward and render help for construction. Badri Nath Bhat, a devotee of the Mata of nearby village Zewan took the onus to himself and started the reconstruction of the holy shrine which is the presiding deity of Kashmiri Hindus.
He did this all out of his own resources with active support of local Karsevaks led by a social activist RaviJi Bhat of Ladhoo.
A local contractor Bashir Ahmad Chopan has executed an agreement to complete the work in stipulated time before onset of Winter and funds for the same were provided by Mr Badri Nath Bhat. A team of engineers/architects from Delhi headed by Ravi Bhat of Khrew are providing their valuable technical guidance.
The Asthapan is one of the revered Shakti Peets in the Valley and Mata Jawala Ji, Ishtdevi of Kashmiri Pandits has special religious significance. Badri Nath Bhat while talking to reporters along with all Karsevaks said he is indebted to Mata’s greatness for providing a chance to serve at the lotus feet of Jawala Ji.
Ravi Ji Bhat of Village Ladhoo beaming with confidence assured that most of the work of temple (main component) will be completed before the onset of winter. He has planned to reconstruct the other damaged temples of the area.
