KATHUA, Apr 17: The wheat crop spread over two acres of land was completely destroyed in wild fire today at village Chak Natyal in Mareen tehsil of Kathua district.
The fields belong to Bachan Singh S/o Baryam Singh.
However the people immediately swung into action called fire brigade and also cut the crop in surrounding fields to prevent the fire from spreading in more area.
