Carry out project consultancy services for
establishment of a New Modern Abattoir
House for Sheep/Goat at Srinagar, Kashmir

J&K Sheep and Sheep Products Development Board, (SSPDB) proposes to set up a Modern Abattoir House at Wanihama, Srinagar, Kashmir which would be a state of art mechanized plant to have hygienic and scientific slaughtering for processing to make available wholesome Meat to the Population of Kashmir. The installed capacity of the plant envisaged slaughtering of 5000 sheep / goat per day with Lairages, Chilling facilities, Custom Built ETP and Solid Waste Rendering Plant with required Utilities and off site facilities.
The Managing Director, J&K Sheep and Sheep Products Development Board invites fresh tender from experienced and interested consulting firms to carry out the Consultancy Services for successful and timely execution of the project as per the terms and condition of the tender document. The detailed scope of the consultancy services are described in the tender document which can be obtained by depositing non refundable amount of Rs. 1000/- in cash or in the form of Bank Draft in favour of the Managing Director, J&K Sheep and Sheep Products Development Board, payable at Srinagar Kashmir.
Eligibility conditions for the applicants / consultancy firms are as follows:-
1. Registered consultancy firms having minimum 3 years of experience in planning and/or execution of similar projects.
2. Should have experience for planning and /or execution / operation of at least two Modern Abattoir Houses for large / small animals with HACCP and ISO compliance.
3. Should have planned and / or executed similar project work of atleast Rs. 10 crores in last 3 years.
4. Should have average annual turnover of Rs. 50.00 lacs during last 3 years.
5. Should have a PAN Indian network with the Design and Engineering establishment for effective Project Engineering Services.

For and on behalf of the Governor of J&K State, sealed tenders contaning financial and technical bids in two separate envelops affixed with revenue stamp of Rs. 5/- are invited from authorized refrigerated Cabin manufacturers/fabricators or their distributors/dealers for supply of eighteen units of refrigerated cabins to be built-up on Chassis of TATA 407 or equivalent to be provided by this Department. The technical specifications of the refrigerated cabin are mentioned below :-
1. The refrigeration chamber must have independent engine (Thermoking/ Carrier/ Crompton) to operate the cooling system for maintaining the inner chamber temperature -2oC to +15oC (+1oC).
2. Humidity and light control as well as option of verification.
3. Fitted with temperature and humidity monitoring devices.
4. The size of the cooling chamber (Cabin) must be proportionate to the size of the chassis; preferably the cabin size should be (10x6.5x6.5).
5. The van is to be used for transportation of flowers bulbs, cut flowers, plant material, seeds, seedlings and other perishable items.
