Applications on prescribed Proforma are invited from the unemployed youths of District Kathua under the J&K State Employment Scheme for availing loan assistance for setting up own ventures. No loan application shall be entertained after the last date.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS OF THE CANDIDATES
Age: Candidates should be within age of 18-42 years as on 01.01.2009 for general categories, and 18-45 for women candidates and the Candidates belong to SC,ST, Ex-Servicement and Physically Handicapped.
Qualification: Candidates should have passed at least Middle Class (i.e 8th class or above). However, no educational qualification shall be insisted upon those candidates having qualified training course, for not less than one academic year duration from Government Institution.
Permanent: Candidates must be permanent resident of J&K State and should be residing in the District Kathua for last more than 3 years.
Defaulters: Candidates applying for loan assistance should not be a defaulter of any financial institution and should not have availed of loan facility previously under any Government Scheme.
INCENTIVES AVAILABLE UNDER THE SCHEME.
MARGIN Money: Payable by the Government@15% of the project cost. The amount of margin money shall be refundable in three equal monthly installments immediately after the liquidation of bank loan i.e. five years from the date of availing of the loan.
SUBSIDY: 5% of the projects cost subject to a maximum of Rs. 7500/- only.
PROMOTERS
CONTRIBUTION: 5% of the project cost plus the amount of total short fall after the deduction of amount of subsidy.
INTEREST
SUBSIDY: Duration of interest subsidy is as under:-
1. Ist 6 months from the date of disbursement 100%
2. One year after Ist six months. 75%
3. After one and half year the last 6 months. 50%
NOTE: (i) INCOMPLETE APPLICATION FORMS IN ANY RESPECT WILL BE REJECTED.
