It is hereby Notified for the information of all concerned that admission of the successful candidates of the first year of Elementary Teacher Training Course (ETTC) held by this Board in October, Session 2007, to the Second Year of the Elementary Teacher Training Course (ETTC) in provisionally affiliated Non-Government Institutions of Kashmir Division will be allowed till and including 31st March, 2008 without any late fee.

The candidates who have passed in any two papers out of the four papers comprising of part-I (Foundations papers), any three papers out of the five papers comprising Part-II (Pedagogical Course in different school subject); and all papers comprising Part-III (Teaching Practice/School Experience Programme) and the paper offered from out of the three papers (Co-Scholastic Areas) shall be eligible for provisional Admission in the Second Year as ETTC Re-appear case/s till and including 31st March, 2008 without payment of any late fee, when the normal tuition fee per student is Rs 13,200-00 (Rupees Thirteen thousand and two hundred) only per annum.

The admission of First and Second Category (Pass and re-appear) students after the last date fixed (without late fee) will be made till and including 9th April, 2008, with a late fee of Rs. 120/=.

The admission to Second (Year) shall close at 4 P.M on 9th April, 2008 and no admission shall be allowed after 4 P.M of 9th April, 2008. Regular teaching class work of Second Year shall start from Ist, April 2008 i.e. the next date fixed for admission without late fee.

The attendance of all the candidates, thus admitted shall be counted from the expiry of last date of admission. The inter Institutions migration is not permissible under any circumstances save with the permission of the Board.

All the Heads of non-Governmental Institutions are directed to submit a complete list of admission of the candidates within one week from the completion of admission process without fail.

Terms and conditions

1. The rates quoted shall be valid for printing of six issues the Bi-monthly Edu-News during the financial year 2008-09,

2. The likely number of copies of each Bi-monthly issue, printing of which is tender shall be 3000 (Three thousand) each, subject to increase decrease if any.

3. Samples of each type of paper mentioned above be attached with the tender.

4. The rates should be quoted item wise strictly as per the requirement without any cutting or overwriting.

5. The rates so quoted should be FOR Directorate of School Education Kashmir Srinagar.

6. Tender without CDR shall not be entertained.

7. The successful tenderer shall have to execute an agreement with the department within 10 days after print order is placed with the firm.

8. The Director School Education, Kashmir shall have the authority to impose penalty which may include deduction in payment in case of any mistake or technical fault found in the publication or if the publication is received late than the time frame as may be prescribed in the print order.

9. In case of failure delay in printing and of the quality thereof being found not upto the mark, the order placed with the successful tender shall be liable to the cancelled and orders can be placed with the next lowest tendrer. No claim for payment on account of such delayed or substandard execution of the work shall be acceptable.

10. The DSEK reserves the right to accept or reject any tender wihout assigning any reasons there for.

11. In case of any dispute, the decision of the DSE shall be final.

12. Dispute if any, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the J&K High Court only.

13. Necessary GST/CST/Income Tax Clearance certificate VAT registration certificate, etc should be attached with the NIT. The number and date under with NIT is issued (along-with the subject thereof) shall be super-scribed on the sealed envelope (holding the tender).

Note :

1. The contractor enlisted in one class below the ‘’Eligibility Criteria’’ given above may also apply. Accepting Officer may consider such applications in the event of adequate response from eligible contractors.

2. Application not accompanied by requisite value DD/Bankers Cheque towards cost of Tender shall not be considered for issue of tender.

3. Contractors not enlisted with MES will be required to enclose necessary documents to prove their eligibility as given above including Affidavit for no recovery outstanding.

4. In ace of rejection of application for issue of tender, the applicant shall be refunded the cost of tender. Contractor may appeal to next higher Engineer Authority i.e CE Comd/Zone/CWE for rejection of his application for issue of tender whose decision shall be final and binding . However contractor shall not be entitled to any compensation what so ever for non issue of tender.

NOTICE INVITING TENDER

On behalf of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir State sealed tender affixed with Rs. 5/- (Rs. Five only) Revenue stamps in three covers (Ist cover containing Earnest Money, 2nd Cover containing Terms and Conditions and 3rd cover containing Price Bid) are invited from reputed Labour contractors for handling of Key Construction Material i.e. Cement, Bitumen, Steel etc. and other heavy consignments for the financial year 2008-09 in the Stores of Stores Procurement Department, Jammu, so as to reach the Office of Director, Store Procurement Department, Jammu on or before 7th April 2008 upto 1.00 p.m.

The tender documents can be obtained from the Office of the Deputy Director, Stores Procurement Department, Jammu on payment of Rs. 100/- (Rs. two Hundred only) in the shape of Postal Order drawn in favour of Accounts Officer, Stores Procurement Department, Jammu on any working day upto 4th April 2008.
