an opportunity to political leaders and
the Government to listen and know the
problems of the community. He said people
know it well how much work the present

employees of all the State Government
departments have resolved to resume their
strike from March 27.
Addressing
a joint press conference at Press Club of
Jammu here today, leaders of the Jammu,
Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments
Clerical Staff Association, Ram Kumar
Sharma, coordinator, Rehmat Ullah Malik,

suspended two weeks back by the Clerical
cadre employees after assurance from the
Government during meeting with the
Divisional Commi-ssioner, Jammu that
their pending issue of removing pay
anomalies will be resolved by March 26.
It is
unfortunate that Government has again
failed to keep its commitment thus
forcing the employees to go on the
agitational path. This shows
non-seriousness on the part of Government
towards the problems of its workers and
employees. They said the strike went on
for more than three weeks last time and
then after dialogue process was initiated
by Divisional Commissioner, the employees
representatives and members of
negotiation committee decided to suspend
agitation receiving response that issue
would be solved by March 26.
They said
all the Clerical cadre employees would
observe pen down strike from tomorrow
onwards up to April 2. Next course of
