Samiti suspends bandh for a week

JAMMU, July 8: Suspending eight day long bandh in Jammu for one week, Baba Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti, a conglomerate of over 30 organizations, however, decided to go ahead with protests and demonstrations in support of their demands. The Samiti gave an ultimatum to Government that it will resume an aggressive agitation if their two demands including removal of Governor, N N Vohra and restoration of 800 kanals of land to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) were not conceded......more
