this Institution.

trees bent towards Electric line, Hostel building
Auditorium, Civil Lab. Staff quarters in college
premises and dry trees. List of which can be
collected from the office.
2. Those who are
interested to participate in the auction shall
have to deposit Rs. 1000/- as security with the
office.
3. The highest
bidder shall have to deposit the amount in full
soon after the auction is over and shall have to
remove the trees/branches within 15 days. In case
any material remains in the premises after
stipulated period that will become the property
of the Institution.
4. In case of any
damage is done to the Property of this
Institution while cutting trees/branches the
contractor shall be responsible for the same.

Terms and
Conditions:
01 The rates of
tendered item should be quoted both in words and
figures with make and specifications.
02 The Tenders
should be delivered in the office of the
undersigned and tenderer shall obtain a receipt
thereof, if they wish to do so.
03 A CDR/FDR
amounting to Rs. 150/- pledged to Deputy
Director, State Motor Garages Department, Jammu
shall have to be enclosed with the Tender.
04 The tender with
cutting or over writings will not be entertained.
05 The Deputy
Director, State Motor Garages Department, Jammu
reserves to himself the right of accepting or
rejecting any or all tenders without assigning
reason thereof.
06 The rates of
items hence approved shall remain valid for a
period of one year from the date of its
acceptance by this office.
07 The items
supplied should bear a guarantee period and
during the guarantee period if any defect in the
items/material is found, the same shall be
replaced free of any extra charges. In case the
firm fails to rectify the defect within
stipluated time, the department shall be at
liberty to make the arrangement of the needed
item from the second lowest tenderer. The
difference of cost incurred thereof shall be
recovered from the defaulting tenderer.
08 The tenders
received after the expiry of above mentioned date
shall not be entertained.
09. The firm shall
have to make supply within 3 days from the date
of issue of the supply order.
10. 100% payment
shall be made on receipt of supplies in our
Regional Stores, Jammu after necessary
verification of concerned Inspection Committee.

5. Bank Draft for
Rs. 500/- having Micre No. of Bank duly pledged
to the Executive Engineer PWD (R&B)
Construction Divn. No. 1, Jammu non-refundable as
a pre-qualification certificate and no over dated
Bank Draft shall be entertained and also name of
Contractor/Nomenclature of work should be written
on the main envelop.
6. Time of
completion is the essence of tender. After the
completion of allotted date, the work will be put
to fresh tender at what stage it may be at the
risk and cost of the tenderer.
7. The work shall
have to be completed by the contractor within
stipulated time period mentioned above and in
emergency cases if work allowed to continue
beyond expiry period then the current stock rates
of key construction material shall be applicable
rather than the advertised in the NIT.
8. The bidder
shall adopt the % age rate mentioned only which
requires the bidder to quote above or below % age
on the advertised items except for the items for
which item for which item rate has been asked for
otherwise the tender shall be straightway
rejected.

Pre-Printed Registration
Card to be used on Dot Matric Printer
for the year 2007-08 as per the details given in
the tender documents (Tender form, Terms &
conditions of Tender Notice & specimen of the
Pre-Printed Registration Card) from those firms
who are registered with Health & Medical
Education Department, J&K. These tender
documents can be had on written request during
all working days upto 10-01-2008 (Thursday)
against the Non-refundable cash amount of Rs
500/- in general and Rs 250/- for local SSI Unit
holders from the office of Principal, Govt
Medical College, Jammu (Chairman, Provincial
Purchase Committee).
The Rate contract
thus issued shall be valid for a period of 12
months, extendable for a further period of 90
days from the date of issue of Rate Contract or
till such time the new Rate Contract is finalized
and issued, whichever may be earlier.
The tender should
be accompanied with an earnest money deposit in
shape of CDR (Call Deposit Receipt) for Rs
20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand only) from any
Nationalized Bank/Scheduled Bank preferably the
J&K Bank Ltd).
The rates should
be quoted against each item of the tender both in
words and figures without cutting, tempering and
transparent tape should be applied on quoted

The Provincial
Purchase Committee reserves the right to accept
or reject any tender or any part of the tender
