In view of little response to the original IFB for the above mentioned sub-project issued by this office vide No: 1368-80 dated 13-11-2007 the last date for sale of bid documents is hereby extended upto 30th January ‘2008 Consequently, the last date for the submission of bid documents is extended upto 2nd, Feb 2008 upto 1400 hours. The technical bids will be opened at 1500 hours on 2nd February, in the office of Project Manager (T) Kashmir, located at 3rd, Floor Hotel Remano , Zero Bridge Rajbagh, Srinagar. NOTICE

In view of shortfall of House Officers in various departments of Govt Medical College & its Associated Hospitals selected during the conselling on 29th December, 2007, as decided in the Selection Committee, applications duly filled and complete in all respects, on the prescribed forms are invited from the Medical Graduates for the appointment as full time House Officers (Physicians/Surgeons), in the various specialities of the Associate Hospitals (Govt Medical College), Jammu for a period six months on a consolidated salary for the Session January-June, 2008.

The interns who are likely to complete their internship latest by December, 2007 can also apply. The candidates who have completed two house jobs will be allowed for Third House Job and the condition No. 2 of the terms and conditions shall also be relaxed.

The applicants can have the application Form from the office of the Medical Superintendent, SMGS Hospital (Govt Medical College) Jammu upto 3rd January, 2008 (Thursday), after depositing Rs 50.00 under Form FC 1(GR).

The application forms as referred to above (also refer to the enclosed Terms and conditions) should reach in the office of the undersigned on or before 4th January, 2008 (Friday).

Written examination of the eligible candidates for Junior House officers shall be held on 7th January, 2008 (Monday) 11.00 am in the Auditorium of SMGS Hospital, Jammu and the counselling of the House Officers will be held on 8th January, 2008 (Tuesday) at 11.00 am in the office chamber of the Principal at SMGS Hospital, Jammu. All the candidates are supposed to appear in the Written Examination, the candidates who fail to appear in the written examination shall not be eligible for the Counselling/Selection.

No TA or DA shall be paid to the candidates appearing for the Written Examination nor the Interview.

2. Tender shall be opened on the next day or any other subsequent date convenient to tender opening authority Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) Const. Divn. No.I Jammu in presence of the tenderers who may like to remain present at the time of the opening of the same.

3. While putting the work to tender sale tax certificate issued by Sales Tax Department should be furnished by the contractor/firm. Sales tax shall be deducted as applicable.

4. Registration card should be renewed for the year 2007-2008 well before the date of receipt of tender, if not only shall be entertained subject production of proof of having remittance of renewal fee in the divisional office (Ref. to G.R).

5. Bank Draft for Rs. 500/- having Micre No. of Bank duly pledged to the Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) Construction Divn. No. 1, Jammu non-refundable as a pre-qualification certificate and no over dated Bank Draft shall be entertained and also name of Contractor/Nomenclature of work should be written on the main envelop.

6. Time of completion is the essence of tender. After the completion of allotted date, the work will be put to fresh tender at what stage it may be at the risk and cost of the tenderer.

7. The work shall have to be completed by the contractor within stipulated time period mentioned above and in emergency cases if work allowed to continue beyond expiry period then the current stock rates of key construction material shall be applicable rather than the advertised in the NIT.

8. The bidder shall adopt the % age rate mentioned only which requires the bidder to quote above or below % age on the advertised items except for the items for which item for which item rate has been asked for otherwise the tender shall be straightway rejected.

For and on behalf of the Governor of Jammu & Kashmir state, sealed Tenders are invited affixed with Rs 5/- revenue stamp for the supply of ‘‘Pre-Printed Registration Card’’ to be used on Dot Matric Printer for the year 2007-08 as per the details given in the tender documents (Tender form, Terms & conditions of Tender Notice & specimen of the Pre-Printed Registration Card) from those firms who are registered with Health & Medical Education Department, J&K. These tender documents can be had on written request during all working days upto 10-01-2008 (Thursday) against the Non-refundable cash amount of Rs 500/- in general and Rs 250/- for local SSI Unit holders from the office of Principal, Govt Medical College, Jammu (Chairman, Provincial Purchase Committee).

The Rate contract thus issued shall be valid for a period of 12 months, extendable for a further period of 90 days from the date of issue of Rate Contract or till such time the new Rate Contract is finalized and issued, whichever may be earlier.

The tender should be accompanied with an earnest money deposit in shape of CDR (Call Deposit Receipt) for Rs 20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand only) from any Nationalized Bank/Scheduled Bank preferably the J&K Bank Ltd).

The rates should be quoted against each item of the tender both in words and figures without cutting, tempering and transparent tape should be applied on quoted rates. The Provincial Purchase Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any tender or any part of the tender without assigning any reasons thereof.
