ORDER
Whereas, pursuant to Govt Order No. 48-Coop of 2006 dated 10.3.2006, the settlement of freight claims of Cooperative Marketing Societies/Central Level Cooperatives on account of their transporation of fertilizers both controlled and decontrolled has to be made through this office.
Whereas in pursuance of the aforesaid order the freight claims of the such category of Cooperatives for the period Kharief 2006 were lodged with the Department of Fertilizers Govt of India vide this office No. RCS/SS/454-55 dated 17.03.2007.
Whereas, the Department of Fertilizers Govt of India vide their communication referred to above has settled the freight claims of Central Level Cooperatives/Cooperative Marketing Societies on account of transportation of decontrolled fertilizers during Kharief 2006 lifted by such category of Institutions from the Manufactures under authorization issued by this office as per standing Govt orders.
Whereas, the position of freight claims lodged by such Cooperative Societies vis-a-vis the amount claimed is indicated in the Annexure ‘’A’’ to this order.
Whereas, the position of amount of freight already paid out of State Plan during 2006-07 is further indicated under Annexure ‘’B’’ to this order.
Now therefore, the balance freight in favour of the Cooperative Institutions as indicated under Annexure ‘’B’’ is accordingly released in their favour through A/c Payees Cheques drawn on State Bank of Patiala, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi, Branch, Jammu. However, it shall be obligatory on the part of each Institution to furnish printed receipt to this office on realization / credit of the amount in their respective accounts.
