Institutions In the State of Jammu and Kashmir

NOTICE

ATTENTION: Unaided Private Educational Institutions imparting Degree/Diploma Professional Courses in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
In terms of judgment delivered by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the case titled “Islamic Academy of Education Vs State of Karnataka AIR 2003 SC3724”, all unaided private educational institutions imparting Degree/Diploma Professional Courses were required to place before this Committee, well in advance of the academic year, their proposed fee structure for consideration for appropriate action. In absence of compliance the Committee through notices published in the vernacular press called upon all such institutions to submit the proposals accompanied by the relevant documents by or before 20-04-2008.
It has been noticed that with the exception of few, the institutions have failed to respond by the stipulated date.
The non-compliance of the directions fo the Hon’ble Supreme Court can invite consequences which may include withdrawal of recognition / affiliation by the competent authority. Before the Committee pursues the proposition, such institutions are provided with last and final opportunity and directed to submit the proposals by or on 9th of May, 2008 in the office of the undersigned at Jammu or Srinagar depending on the location of office with reference to annual darbar move.

1. Minimum education qualification- Matric and Middle Pass in case Matriculate not available.
2. Age as on 1-1-2008 18 yrs- 44 yrs
3. The applicant must be a permanent resident of J&K State and should belong to the concerned Panch Constituency Ward where anganwadi centre is located.
4. For candidates belonging to reserved categories there shall be no qualification but while applying for engagement as Anganwadi Workers.
The applications, as per proforma given in Annexure ‘’A’’ , complete in all respects alongwith attested copies of all the relevant certificates should be sent to the office of under signed by registered post or by personal delivery during working hours against proper receipt. Incomplete application forms shall not be accepted. The last late for receipt of application shall be 02-05-2008 upto 4 p.m. No application form shall be entertained after the last date.
5. Only candidates residing in the concerned Panch constituency ward shall be eligible to apply.

Notification Under Sub-Section (1) of Sec 4 of the J&K Land Acquisition Act.
Whereas the Executive Engineer PMGSY Division Jammu has placed an indent for the acquisition of land situated in Village Kotli Tehsil Akhnoor District Jammu vide his letter No. EE/PMGSY/3/244-248 dated 22.03.2007 for alignment of PMGSY Road in Khungan to Mangu di Pattian (Block Akhnoor). The Deputy Commissioner (Distt. Collector) Jammu has transferred the case to undersigned for disposal under the Land Acquisition Act, vide his letter No. DCJ/LA/ADC/07-08/200-202 dated 03.09.2007.
In exercise the powers vested upon me under sub section (I) of section 4 of the J&K.
Land Acquisition Act Svt. 1990. I Shamsher Bahadur Collector Land Acquisition Sub. Divisional Magistrate Akhnoor hereby notify the land particulars which are given below is needed for public purposes i.e. Construction of road from Khungan to Mangu Di Pattian Block Akhnoor.
Any objection with regard to the notification of the said land will be received by the undersigned within 15 days from the date of issue of this notification.
