the judgement of the Honble Supreme Court
in the case titled Islamic Academy of
Education V/s State of Karnataka, AIR 2003 SC
3724, the Government of Jammu and
Kashmir in terms of Order No. 170-Edu (Tech) of
2005 dated 08.12.2005 read with No. 80-Edu (Tech)
of 2007 dt. 26.04.2007, has constituted a

The judgement

professional educational institutions imparting

streams/Subjects within the purview of AICTE/MCI
are invited through this public notice from all
concerned. The proposals should be accompanied by
the requisite inputs detailing the
infra-structural levels, facilities available,
investiments made, salaries paid to teaching
faculty/staff and the future plans for
expansion/augmentation for the betterment of the
institutions for the years 2008-09 to 2010-11.
The proposals
should reach the office of the Committee on the
address indicated below by or on 20.04.2008
positively. The statement of income and
expenditure for the year ending 31st March 2008
alongwith the copy of the Balance Sheet should
also be appended with the aforementioned
proposal.
It merits a
mention that the educational institutions are
required to produce before the Committee all
relevant books of account and documents for
scrutiny vis-a-vis the proposals, as and when
called for the purpose. The failure to comply
with the terms of the notice in full or part can
visit the institution with consequences, which
may include the withdrawal of the
recognition/affiliation to run the courses.
