Human Resource
Management
Sir,
India with a huge
population of over 1060 million, with 70% of its
population in the rural sector and 30% in the
urban needs plans and plans and policies
commensurate to all around integrated development
Proper development of human being is most vital
for rapid and all round development of the Nation
enabling our country to figure amongst the top on
the international sphere. It is only thus that
the "India Rising" can truly be
transformed to India Shining". The path is
not easy until a concerted and visionary effort
is made on all fronts, specially keeping in view
the serve constrains and political limitations
confronting us .The Managers, the Engineers, the
Professionals, and the intellectuals have a vital
role to play.
Our education
systems need to be strengthened and be of
quality, accredited, standardized besides being
innovative and creative. We seriously lack this
today. Education without civilization is useless,
an area we seriously lack. Therefore, of prime
importance is right thinking, right attitudes and
raising a disciplined human force that is
bubbling, that is infused with a strong National
Character. Bharat Nirman is meaningless with
doles and subsidies. We must transform human
resource into a self supporting, self sustaining
strong work force. This is the major challenge to
our Human Resource Managers.
The best of
machines, materials, money and management call do
little without the best of manpower. And manpower
without morals, values and ethics again gives
disastrous results. Automation in industries and
offices, thanks to the extensive computerization,
has changed the role of the HRM. For the total
quality product we need all inputs of quality and
the most important is the human resource. We
continue to suffer on this front though we drive
courage and hope from multinationals and the
Ambanis, Tatas, Birlas, Narain Murthy, Premji and
their LIKES AVAST India needs such creative,
innovative and visionary forces all over. More
important than materialistic development,
industrialization, concrete jungles is a humane
civilized mankind who also values and respects
ecology and environment.
The HR management
is under these dynamic challenges that
necessitate looking in for qualitative
improvement of human beings, footing down
corruption of kind, mind and soul and
Transforming type human race as the most
respectful, most valuable asset of an
organization, an institution, an establishment,
the state and the Nation. Only then can we be
leaders in the Global peaceful co-existence. We
are fortunately blessed with a rich culture and
heritage that blended with true spiritualism must
pave way for an easier transformation.

Indoor Stadium
Sir,
Yes, the Indor
Stadium complex of M.A.Stadium was closed,
although not for all but only for gymnasium and
Badminton games and that too for three days
w.e.f.20th instant as in Badminton hall the
Fencing players are accommodated for their
tournaments. Resultantly, the badminton players
and gymnasts for whom this hall is basically
meant are totally paralysed for their practice
that too without any prior notice due to which
about hundred players of both the above said
games routinely went to stadium after spending
lot of their traveling expenses and time and only
there they were informed that because of fecning
tournaments, no other game for three days. Had
there been even one day prior notice on the
notice board or announcement in the hall, hundred
of players who were barred from practice would
not have started their expensive and time
consuming journey for stadium in vain.
It is not for the
first time, but at least for a week after every
month this happens. This badminton/gymnasium hall
is always used by the stadium authorities as
"Banquet Hall" for any
function/tournament of any game, may it be
Fencing, Judo, Karate, Wushu or any other indoor
game, because of which the players of badminton
as well as gymnasium suffer badly firstly by
visiting because of no prior notice about the
pre-occupation of this hall because of tournament
and secondly because of complete shut down of
their practice for four/five days continously as
and when this hall is occupied.
In this behalf the
concerned authorities are requested two things;
firstly not to use this badminton/gymnastic hall
for any other game so that let it be for which it
is, and secondly till this decision is taken and
in the meantime if this hall is to be necessarily
occupied/used for any other foreign game, let
there be prior noticelinformation to the basic
players of this hall so that they do not suffer
unnecessarily by visiting the stadium just to
know that 'hall is closed'. After all in this
age, all children/players come in stadium very
hardly by bearing their travelling expenses, by
Auto, Car or even by public transportation, and
above all by toughly getting time from their
tight schedule of competition
of studies as
these children/players are not at all idle or
shepherd but being competitive students, their
time is very very precious to become the future
of nation.
Yours etc....
