Applications,
on the prescribed form, are invited from
permanent residents of J&K State who have
done B.D.S from recognised Dental Institutions
for appointment as full time House Surgeons in
the following departments of Indira Gandhi
Government Dental College, Jammu for a period of
one year on a consolidated stipend:-
1.
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
2.
Prosthodontics
3.
Periodontics
4.
Conservative Dentistry
5.
Oral Medicine & Radiology
6.
Pedodontics
7.
Orthodontics
The
application form can be had from the office of
the Medical Superintendent, Govt. Dental
Hospital, Jammu upto 12.4.2008 (upto 2.00 PM) on
all working days on payment of Rs. 50/- (Rupees
fifty only).
The
application forms, duly filled in, in all
respects should be submitted to the office of the
undersigned alongwith attested copies of the
following documents on or before 17.4.2008:-
1.
B.D.S Degree certificate.
2.
Marks sheet of all professional examinations
alongwith merit certificate, if any.
3.
Attempt certificate of all professional
examinations.
4.
Internship completion certificate.
5.
Certificate of Registration with J&K State
Dental Council.
6.
Certificate of prizes, medals, honours, national
scholarship, awards, etc, if any.
7.
Certificate of extra curricular activities, if
any (issued by the competent authority).
8.
Certificate of work and conduct.
9.
State Subject certificate.
10.
Date of birth certificate.
Incomplete
form, in any manner, shall be summarily rejected
without any further notice. No ‘’Under
Process’’ certificates will be
entertained in any case.
The
eligible candidates will be required to appear in
the written test at their own risk and
responsibility and also expenses on 30-4-08 at
11.00 AM at Indira Gandhi Govt. Dental College,
Jammu.
The
allotment of Department shall be decided on the
overall merit/rank of the candidate.
The
date of counselling shall be intimated
separately.
Terms
& conditions:-
The
appointment of House surgeons will be on tenure
basis for a period of one year and will be
subject to the following terms and conditions:-
1.
The House Surgeons will be whole timer and will
be non-practicing.
2.
During their tenure as House Surgeons, they will
be subject to the Rule of conduct &
Discipline like other doctors who are the members
of regular establishment.
3.
During tenure of House job, they shall not be
entitled to any kind of leave except casual leave
for 15 days only. The house Surgeons availing
excess of leave during the period of House Job
shall have to repeat the same in his/her own
interest without any stipend after obtaining
prior permission from the Principal, Govt. Dental
College, Jammu.
4.
The House Surgeons will receive a consolidated
stipend (equal to the salary of Dental Surgeons
at the State + D.A)
5.
The services of the House Surgeons shall be
terminated by the Principal Indira Gandhi Govt.
Dental College, Jammu without prior notice as and
when their work and conduct is reported to be
unsatisfactory by the Head of the Department or
any other officer with whom they are working.
6.
The stipend for one month will be kept with held
and will be paid after successful completion of
full tenure of House Job.
7. No
student will be given house job for more than one
year duration.
8.
Candidates who have not done house job earlier
shall be preferred first.
