approximate 60,000 forms are required during
year. The quantity can be increased or decreased
as per the actual requirement. The tenderer
should quote his rates on his printed letter head
in one envelope marked price bid and send Xerox
copies of permanent registration certificate,
existence certificate and samples of 80 GSM/3
ACCs ledger paper/60 GSM Cream Wove paper
and details of machinery in Second envelop marked
technical bid. A penalty upto 10% on the
un-executed value shall be imposed at the
discretion of Board authorities. The rate should
be inclusive of all taxes including VAT, duties,
Freight etc.
The last date of
receipt of tender at the office of the Secretary,
J&K Board of School Education, Rehari Colony,
Jammu is 16th April, 2008 upto 2 PM. The tenders
will be opened on the same day or any other
subsequent day in presence of tenderers who wish
to participate in the opening of tenders. The
technical bid part of the tender will be open
first. The Board reserves the right to reject all
or any tender without assigning any reason

of Machinery required at site of work for
execution is the Primary responsibility of the
Agency and Department in no case owns the
responsibility in this regard. An affidavit in
this behalf may also be enclosed with tender Bid.
h) Experience in
work of a similar nature and size for each of the
last five years and details of works in progress
or contractually completed with certificate from
the concerned office of the rank of Executive
Engineer of equivalent.
g) Turnover in
Road construction 1/5 of the tendered cost in one
year during the last 3 years be also produced.
Tender documents
for the work shall be issued to the eligible
tenderers from the office of the Executive
Engineer, PWD Special Sub-Division Gandoh
(Bhalessa) from 01-04-2008 to 16-04-2008 upto 4
PM against cash payment of Rs. 10000/- (Ten
Thousand) (Non-refundable) in Divl: chest.
In case of last
date having declared as Gazetted Holiday, the
next working day shall be considered as last days
for receipt of tenders.
II) OTHER SPECIAL
CONDITIONS
1. It is
obligatory on the part of Agency to complete the
work within stipulated time and in case the
agency failed to handover the work duly completed
and for balance work the contract will be treated
as cancelled for all particular purposes for
which no claim of agency will be entertained and
this failure on the part of agency will
constitute inefficiency and the agency will be in
consequences their of black listed. Besides
imposition of other penalties (in accordance with
the contractors Registration rules).
2. The
contractor/Firm shall be responsible for any
mishap or any other eventuality during
construction work as per workman compensation Act
and Authority of payment Act. wherein the
firm/contractor shall be arrayed as Principal
Employer.
3. To avoid
adversities as mentioned above the
Firm/Contractor shall ensure registration of
Insurance cover to all his men who are deployed
on the work for the particular years.
4. The
Firm/contractor shall ensure that N.S.Ls
with respect to road widening works are
authenticated by the Department Engineer and
Firm/contractor.
5. If the
contractor does not come for drawal of Agreement
with two weeks from the date of issuance/receipt
of allotment letter the department shall be at
liberty to cancel his contract, simply by
notifying in leading News Papers and invite fresh
tenders on his risk and cost after forfeiting his
earnest money and no claim shall be entertained
for the part work executed or material kept at
site (abandoned)
6.
Misconduct/Misbehavior if any observed during the
tender open costing process with any
officer/official shall debar the contractor for
allotment of work and shall be liable for
cancellation of Registration Card issued by any
Department.
7. The successful
tender shall be responsible for providing all
safety measure at site during execution of work.
III. PENALTY
CONDITIONS
1. That the
contractor is bound to complete the allotted work
within stipulated time failing which a penalty to
the extent 10% of total cost can be imposed upon
the contractor by the next higher authority.
2. In case of
Failure to execute the work in full, will amount
to breach of contract and accordingly his case
will be recommended for blacklisting.
All other general
terms and conditions advertised from time to time
from this Division and in vogue in PW (R&B)
Department shall hold good and form part of the
N.I.T/Agreement.

FODDER for the Government Livestock Stationed at

The tender must

its publication in the Govt, Gazetted or any

1) The tender
should be furnished in a sealed envelop
subscribing as tender for supply of Green and Dry
fodder for the year 2008-09.
2) The rates may
be quoted for each centre per Quintal for the
Supply of Dry and green Fodder Seperately on the

3) The rates
should be written both in words and figures
avoiding Cutting or Over-Writing and should be

accompany with CDR of Rs 2000/- (Rupees Two

5) No Conditional
tender or tender after expiry of period shall be

6) The contractors
in whose favour rates shall be approved will have
to supply fodder on receiving approval of rates

7) The Divisional
Level Purchase Committee/Director, Animal
Husbandry Jammu shall reserve the right to accept
or reject any tender in whole or part thereof,
with out assigning any reason thereof.
8) The fodder to
be supplied must be of good quality and shall
have to be supplied for destination according to
the requisition of Incharge Vety Units from time
to time. Contractor shall be bound to supply
fodder at Such Vety, Units where Government bulls
be stationed after the approval of Contractor at
the rates near to the Centres quoted by him.
9) The rates
approved will remain Valid upto One year or till
the Contract for the year 2009-10 is sanctioned
which over shall be later.
10) The Successful
tenders shall have to execute an agreement with
this office on stamped paper before resuming
supply of fodder.
11) In case of
failure in supplying the fodder well in time by
the approved Contractor/Firm. The concerned I/C
of Vety, Centres shall be at Liberty to effect
local Purchase at the cost of the approved
Contractor and Variation in rates, if, any shall
be made good from his CDR with out any notice.
12) The tender
shall be opened by a Committee of Officers of the
Office of Director, Animal Husbandry Deptt. Jammu
and Parties interested can be present at the time
of opening of tenders.
13) Tentative
requirement of Green for Buffaloe Breeding Farm
Ari-Ghulta is 1000 Quintals and per centre
requirement of Green and Dry Fodder is 12
Quintals and 3 Quintals per month for Buff
Bull/Cow Bull and 6 Quintals and 2 Quintals for

Note :
1. The contractor
enlisted in one class below the
Eligibility Criteria
given above may also apply. Accepting Officer may
consider such applications in the event of
adequate response from eligible contractors.
2. Application not
accompanied by requisite value DD/Bankers Cheque
towards cost of Tender shall not be considered
for issue of tender.
3. Contractors not
enlisted with MES will be required to enclose
necessary documents to prove their eligibility as
given above including Affidavit for no recovery
outstanding.
4. In ace of
rejection of application for issue of tender, the
applicant shall be refunded the cost of tender.
Contractor may appeal to next higher Engineer
Authority i.e CE Comd/Zone/CWE for rejection of
his application for issue of tender whose
decision shall be final and binding . However
contractor shall not be entitled to any
compensation what so ever for non issue of
tender.

Abbreviated Tender Notice
For and on behalf
of Government of Jammu and Kashmir State, sealed
tenders affixed with revenue stamp of Rs 5/- are
invited from registered dealers/firms dealing in
the line, for supply of raw-material items, tools
and equipments for use in different craft
training centers, run by the Department in the
State. The tender should be addressed to Director
Handicrafts J&K Government and deposited in
the office of Joint Director Kashmir/Jammu by or
before 08-04-2008 upto 2 PM either personally or
by registered post. In case of supervening
circumstances the tenders will be received on the
following day upto 2 PM. The tenders will be
opened in presence of tenderers or their
representatives, who may like to be present on
the occasion. The date of opening of tenders will
be communicated separately.
The tender
documents can be had from the office of Joint
Director Kashmir/Jammu against cash payment of Rs
100/= (Rupees one hundred only) non-refundable.
The earnest money in the shape of CDR to be
obtained from any Nationalized/Scheduled Bank is
equivalent to 2% of the value of the contract for
