NEW DELHI : An insurance cover
to students in the militancy-hit Jammu
and Kashmir would be an effective tool
for enhancing retention and enrollment in
the State, a Parliamentary Panel has
said. Noting that the insurance companies
were reluctant to the proposal, the
Parliamentary Standing Committee on HRD
said the State Government would have to
take a "leading as well as active

a hard-liner separatist leader in Kashmir
through some couriers at the behest

Naval Chief Admiral Sureesh Mehta over
his recent comments on defence relations
with Russia, Defence Minister A K Antony
