Improve work conditions

The State Government has many hydro-electric projects. It is going to start many more. Many of these projects are located at remote places. All the staff including Engineers have to work in these areas which are without the basic facilities.

If we take the case of Swalkote hydro electric Power project into consideration there the basic facilities are not yet in place. The quarters are vey few in number. With the result that many Engineers are living in a single room. The site from the quarters is 30 kilometers away. They have to go and return from such a long distance. The usual TA is not paid to them even which otherwise is due to them. It is requested to the concerned authority to kindly upgrade the work condition so that the Engineer can put in their best.

While addressing a meeting of Principals at Samba, Didar Singh condemned the futile exercise of the Administrative Department in School Education and stressed that the only way to achieve the desired goal of regularization of Incharge Principals and higher Officers was to take up the matter in the State Cabinet for regularization as ‘One Time Exception’ to clear the backlog.

The meeting appealed Peerzada Mohd Sayeed and MoS S Manjeet Singh for immediate intervention to get regularization of Incharge Principals from State Cabinet.
