Whereas a select list of B.Ed. candidates for admission to B.Ed. course in Government B.Ed. College, Canal Road, Jammu was issued on 7-10-2006 vide Notification No. 80 BOPEE-of 2006;

Whereas a number of representations were received by the Board wherein dissatisfaction about the select list was expressed;

Whereas Board took notice of these representations and kept in abeyance the selection list till full re-view of the pre-preparation of result process vide this office No. 470 dated 11-10-2006.

Whereas the thorough rechecking revealed that the Result Processing Agency had committed some inadvertent error in decoding the jumbling chart resulting in wrong application of answer keys.

Whereas the same was rectified and fresh error free select list prepared;

Now, therefore, the select list issued vide Notification No. 80-BPEE of 2006 dated 7-10-2006 is withdrawn and the admissions, if any, secured by the candidates who figured in the withdrawn select list and do not figure in the fresh selection list shall be treated as cancelled. Further, the fresh selection list is issued as given hereunder and the selected candidates are directed to complete their admission formalities by or before 27-10-2006.

The fee, if deposited by any candidate in the B.Ed. college whose admission stands cancelled shall be refunded in full by the Principal to such candidates.

It is Notified for the information of all the concerned that the students who are more than 40% Physically disabled (Deafness, Dumbness, Blindness, Lower Vision, Leprosy Cured, Hearing Impairment, Loco-motor disability, Mental retardation, & Mental Illness and the like) of permanent nature, of Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) & higher Secondary Part -II (Class 12th) have to pass the examination if he/she secures, atleast only 28% marks instead of 33% in Secondary School Examination and 31% marks instead of 36% in case of Higher Secondary Part - II Examination in each of the five subjects save in English, where only 28% marks are required to pass. Where-ever practical examination is involved. This percentage of 28% and 31% shall be required by a candidate in theory and practical examination separately.

This Regulation is in addition to chapter X (Examination General) 17, (iii) and 24, (i). It is also mentioned here that physically disabled candidates have to produce a certificate from District Medical Board (Competent Authority appointed by Directorate of Health Services Kashmir/Jammu) or documentary proof from Department of Social Welfare J&K in support of their claim.

Moreover, no Examination fee/other fees shall be charged in cases of Disabled students (Deafness, Dumbness, Blindness, Lower Vision, Leprosy Cured, Hearing Impairment, Loco-motor disability, Mental retardation & Mental Illness) who are more than 50% Physical handicapped of permanent nature.

h) Promotion certificate in case the student has passed the previous examination for which scholarship already received.

i) Hostel certificate (in case the applicant desires to avail the Hostel facility).

j) The scholarship to the students of private institutions is admissible only to the institutions affiliated with the universities recognized by the Govt./UGC/Board of Technical Education.

Terms & Conditions:-

1. The quotation should be addressed to the official address of the Chief Engineer PW (R&B) Department Jammu Lok Nirman Bhawan Rail Head Jammu and should be sent through registered post, speed post and courier service as well (on their risk and responsibility) and should reach in his office on or before 30.10.2006 upto 1400 hours. The Chartered Accountant/Firm name should be written on the envelop containing the quotation.

2. The quotation shall be opened on the same day or any other subsequent day convenient to the Chief Engineer PW (R&B) Department Jammu in the presence of such bidders/quotationer who may like to remain present at the time of opening of the quotations.

3. State Rural Roads Development Agency reserve the right to accept or reject any quotation without assigning any reason thereof.

4. A copy of empanelment with CAG of India should attached with the quotation.

5. The bidder should quote price bids for each financial year. The offer shall be inclusive of all charges (Consultancy Fee, Travel Expenses/Boarding/Loading and any other overhead expenses including consultations with NRRDA Govt. of India New Delhi at New Delhi or any other place convenient to NRRDA authorities) and nothing extra shall be paid on any account.

6. The required accounts of PMGSY are to be prepared on the prescribed forms devised and shown in Accounts manuals of PMGSY issued by the NRRDA which shall be provided by the JKRRDA.

7. The quotations received after the prescribe time & date will be rejected.

8. The firm shall have to abide by any changes made in accounts manuals by NRRDA.

9. The data prepared shall be whole property of JKRRDA and shall be made available by the firm to JKRRDA. The required accounts of PMGSY be submitted to JKRRDA in a time bound schedule for onward submission to NRRDA.

10. The infrastructure by way of installation of Computers, Internet lines for on line uploading of data shall be borne by the firm.

11. The Chartered Accounts/Firms should have experiences of similar job/prestigious work.

12. Copies of PMGSY accounts manual/guidelines or any other document can be inspected from the office of the Chief Engineer (R&B) Department Jammu/Kashmir or same can be down loaded from the official website (www.omms.nic.in) of NRRDA. Further information/clarification can be had from Chief Engineer, (R&B) Department Jammu/Kashmir or Nodal Officers of PMGSY Jammu/Srinagar.

The tenders in two Bid System (Technical & Financial bid) any complete in all respects must be sent through speed post/registered A.D. / reputed courier so as to reach the office of the Chief Executive Officer, Central Office of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Katra latest by or before 3.00 p.m. on 30th October, 2006. Tenders can also be put in the sealed tender box available in Central Office, SMVDSB at Katra. Project Beacon

1. Chief Engineer, Project Beacon, C/o 56 APO invites separate applications for each work from approved BRO/MES/PWD/CPWD/Railway and any other Govt agency contractors/suppliers for issue of tender documents for the following works.

(a) Tender No: CE (P) BCN37/2006-07, "Upgradation of software and hardware of forced ventilation, lighting and monitoring control system at Jawahar Tunnel on Jammu-Srinagar (NH-IA) road in 760 BRTF sector under Project Beacon in J&K State". Last date of Application is 27 Sep 2006. Estimated cost of work is Rs. 39.35 lac. Tender Fee is Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only). Date of opening/receipt of tender document is 18 Oct 2006.

2. Applicants must attach with their application an experience certificate of similar works executed during last three years and details of technical and financial resources. Applicants registered with BRO must furnished details of work in financial terms, which are already allotted to them.

3. The cost of tender documents mentioned at (a) of Para 1 above shall be in the form of demand draft from any nationalised bank in favour of Chief Engineer Project Beacon, payable at SBI, Rawalpora, Srinagar (J&K), Code No. - 6868 which shall be attached to the application requesting issue of tender by the contractor. The DD shall be non-refundbale if the application for issue of tender is accepted and tender documents are issued to the contractor after scrutiny and selection. The applicant contractor shall not become automatically entitled for issue of tender by virtue of enclosing demand draft along with the application and the Accepting Officer shall reserve the right to deny issue of tender to any contractor.
