SRINAGAR, Oct 5: Chief Justice, Mr Justice Bashir Ahmed Khan, has taken strong exception to a Munsiff Afroz Ahmed Mir's appointment by the State Government as Director of Defence Labour Procurement (DDLP) without seeking clearance from Jammu and Kashmir High Court. Even as Afroz Mir, son of former Minister and senior PDP leader Ghulam Hassan Mir, was on temporary deputation with the State Government and was holding the post of an Assistant Legal Remembrancer (ALR) in the Law Department, Government has lately appointed him DDLP without taking his employer into confidence.........more
