AI Express to fly Delhi-Amritsar-Dubai, Mangalore-Dubai MUMBAI, Sept 30: Air India (AI) Express, the countrys only international budget airline, has announced the schedule for direct flights between Mangalore and Dubai as well as flights between Amritsar, Delhi and Dubai. The inaugural flight on October 3 from Delhi will proceed to Amritsar and onwards to Dubai. On the same day, operations between Mangalore and Dubai will start. Special inaugural fares are being offered for a limited period. From October 5, there will be three weekly frequencies each between Amritsar, Delhi, Mangalore and Dubai. (UNI) |

Elsewhere, other steels traded in a limited range in scattered deals and settled around previous closing. Traders said fall in demand from re-rolling steel units led to a fall in ingot and scrap prices. In the ingot and scrap section, mill heavy, turning boring and cast iron were down by Rs 100 each at Rs 16,200-16,300, Rs 14,950-15,050 and Rs 16,400-16,500 per tonne respectively. Following were today's quotations per tonne: CTD saria (kamdhenu) 8-mm, 27,900, 10-mm, 27,300, 12-mm 26,750, 16-20 mm 27,900 and 25-mm Rs 27,850. Select edible oils recover on fresh buying NEW DELHI, Sept 30: The wholesale oils and oilseeds market depicted a better trend today with select edible oils recovering on emergence of buying by millers and closed in positive zone. Non-edible oils, on the other side, remained flat on some deals. Traders said increased revival of buying by vanaspati units and retailers, helped select edible oil prices. In the edible section, mustard expeller oil posted Rs 50 higher at Rs 4150 per quintal on fresh buying by local parties. Cottonseed and soyabean refined mill delivery oils also quoted higher by Rs 10 each at Rs 4260 and Rs 4460 a quintal respectively. (PTI)_ |
