Party Action Committee Majalta
delegation met S S Bloeria and
demanded re-organization of newly
created districts and tehsils in
the State.
The

apprehensions that some outsiders
were working overtime to annex
recently upgraded Majalta tehsil
from already truncated Udhampur
and drag it down to newly created
border district of Samba, which
is a Kandi heartland. The

integral part of Udhampur
district for over 100 years and
its natural geography, near green
ecology and temperate environment
are uniquely reflected in the

bonds, socio-lingual affinity etc
and in such circumstances
clipping Majalta tehsil out of
Udhampur would not been taken
kindly even by one out of one

represented the displaced

alleged that the main issues
concerning the community have
been circumvented.
Talking

in addressing the core issues
like constitution of Inquiry
Commission to probe into the
causes of exodus.
He

regarding their geopolitical
rehabilitation. He apprehended
that the Working Group was
adopting avoiding tactics on the
major issues concerning the
Pandits.
Dr

the effective Rehabilitation

Kashmiri Pandits was diluted and
instead it has been recommended
that comprehensive package for

Moreover,
there is no mention about the
payment of exgratia and
enhancement of relief as demanded
by the community. The Group was
