1) The admission of successful candidates of Higher Secondary Examination Part-I (11th Class) held under C.C.E Scheme by this Board, who passed the fifth subject of Secondary School Examination (10th Class) April Session, 2006 and whose result of the said (S.S.E) examination was declared on 05-7-2006 to the Higher Secondary Part-II (12th Class) course in the recognized Higher Secondary Schools of Jammu Province will be completed by 19-7-2006 without payment of any late fee;

ii) A student who is placed under re-appear category in one or more than one subject of Secondary School Examination (10th Class) shall not be admitted to Higher Secondary Examination Part-II (12th Class) either as a regular or a private candidate under any circumstances;

iii) The last date for admission in a school recognized by the Government and affiliated to the Board is 19-7-2006. However, a student may be admitted in Class-12th after 19.7.2006 till and including 29-7-2006 on payment of a late fee of Rs. 120/- provided no admission/s shall be granted after 29-7-2006 under any circumstances;

iv) The attendance of all the candidates admitted under S.No. i & iii above shall be calculated after the last date is over;

v) The Heads of the Institutions shall forward the prescribed Registration Return forms complete in all respects indicating name and particulars of every student admitted to Class -12th alongwith prescribed renewal fee fo Rs. 100/- per candidate to the Joint Secretary (Regn). Board of School Education, Rehari Colony, Jammu/Officer Incharge Sub/Branch Offices of the Board latest by 31-7-2006 provided a late fee of Re. 01/- per day per candidate shall be charged for count of 10 days and after the 10th day on Registration return shall be accepted;

vi) Students seeking admission as Inter-School/Board Migration cases shall not be admitted by any Institution even provisionally under any circumstances unless his/her (Candidate's) Inter-School/Board Migration is sanctioned by the Board. Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under the J&K Municipal Corporation Act, 2000, I hereby require all to remove all types of construction materials/other articles dumped on public streets/roads & footpaths within a period of 7 days from the publication of this notice, failing which same shall be removed by the JMC at his/her risk and cost. In the case of mulba/waste materials and other articles, if removed by the Corporation, charges @ times of the actual expenditure (in lifting and transportation) shall be recovered from the defaulter/s.

It is hereby notified for information of all concerned that:-

i) The admission of successful candidates of Secondary School Examination (Class - X) Private, April Session, 2006; whose result has been declared on 5th July, 2006 to the Higher Secondary Part-I Course (Class-XI) in the recognized Higher Secondary Schools of Jammu Province will be completed by 19.7.2006 without payment of any late fee;

ii) No one shall be admitted in any recognized Higher Secondary Schools after; 19.7.2006 provided that a late fee of Rs. 120/- shall be charged from each candidate seeking late admission upto and including 29.7.2006;

iii) The regular teaching work of Class-XI shall start immediately after the expiry of the last date of admission;

iv) The attendance of all lthe candidates admitted under S. No. i & ii above shall be calculated from the date of teaching work of the class starts;

v) Candidates of Secondary School Examination (Class - X) conducted by J&K State Board of School Education as are placed in re-appear category in any one subject only are eligible for admission to Higher Secondary Examination Part - I (Class - XI) but the result of such Candidate/s shall remain withheld, unless they clear the fifth subject of the Secondary School Examination (Class - X).

vi) No one shall be admitted to Higher Secondary Examination Part - I (Class-XI) either as regular or a private candidate who has failed in one or more than one subject of Secondary School Examination (Class- X) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi or by any other examining body established by Law in India in force for the time being outside the J&K State.

vii) No candidate seeking inter-school migration shall be admitted by any Head of the Institution even provisionally under any circumstances before his/her (candidate's) Inter-School Migration is sanctioned by the Board. The erring institution shall be personally responsible for the consequences for granting un-authorized admission to the students and the Board shall incur no liability/responsibility on this account;

viii) The Heads of the institutions are required to pay to the Board in the shape of Bank Draft drawn on J&K Bank in the name of the Chairman, J&K State Board of School Education, the prescribed examination fee of the candidates appearing in each subject the required fee and the information should reach this office latest by 31.7.2006.

* Low pressure forces consumers to install booster pumps on the water lines, which is illegal and deprives neighbours of their legitimate requirement of water. Further, it causes pollution of drinking water by sucking in waste water from drains & cesspools, causing water borne diseases.

* Entering of Sewage into pipe line because for prevalent low pressure leads to water borne diseases.

* Using of booster pump may also lead to entry of filth into suction pipes.

It is Notified for the information of all the concerned that the students who are more than 40% Physically disabled (Deafness, Dumbness, Blindness, Lower Vision, Leprosy Cured, Hearing Impairment, Loco-motor disability, Mental retardation, & Mental Illness and the like) of permanent nature, of Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) & higher Secondary Part -II (Class 12th) have to pass the examination if he/she secures, atleast only 28% marks instead of 33% in Secondary School Examination and 31% marks instead of 36% in case of Higher Secondary Part - II Examination in each of the five subjects save in English, where only 28% marks are required to pass. Where-ever practical examination is involved. This percentage of 28% and 31% shall be required by a candidate in theory and practical examination separately.

This Regulation is in addition to chapter X (Examination General) 17, (iii) and 24, (i). It is also mentioned here that physically disabled candidates have to produce a certificate from District Medical Board (Competent Authority appointed by Directorate of Health Services Kashmir/Jammu) or documentary proof from Department of Social Welfare J&K in support of their claim.

Moreover, no Examination fee/other fees shall be charged in cases of Disabled students (Deafness, Dumbness, Blindness, Lower Vision, Leprosy Cured, Hearing Impairment, Loco-motor disability, Mental retardation & Mental Illness) who are more than 50% Physical handicapped of permanent nature.

Application on prescribed proforma for grant of scholarship for Post Matric Level courses are invited from the students belonging to SC/ST/OBC and physically Handicapped categories studying outside and within State of J&K. The scholarship includes tuition fee and all compulsory non-refundable fee paid by the students studying in Govt. or private Institutions recognized by the Govt/UGC/Board of Technical Education as per fee structure approved by Govt. Besides maintenance allowance is also admissible under rule. The application forms should be accompanied with the certificates mentioned hereunder duly recommended by the Heads of concerned institutions and forwarded through the concerned District Social Welfare Officers.

a) Permanent Resident Certificate.

b) Caste/Category certificate.

c) Parents/Guardian Income Certificate from concerned Tehsildar in case of students whose parents guardian are non Govt. employees. In case of employed parents/guardians salary certificate issued by the concerned Drawing & Disbursing Officer is required along with affidavit that the income from all sources does not exceed the prescribed limit, which is as under:-

1. For SC students Rs. 1.00 lakh per annum.

2. For ST students Rs. 65,290/- per annum.

3. For OBC/Physically Handicapped students Rs. 44,500/- per annum.

d) Marks certificate (duly attested by a gazetted officer) for the last three years examination passed.

e) Bonafide certificate of the concerned institution.

f) Passport size photographs to be pasted on application forms.

g) Receipt of fee of the concerned course.

h) Promotion certificate in case the student has passed the previous examination for which scholarship already received.

i) Hostel certificate (in case the applicant desires to avail the Hostel facility).

j) The scholarship to the students of private institutions is admissible only to the institutions affiliated with the universities recognized by the Govt./UGC/Board of Technical Education.

k) Utilization certificate of previous amount of scholarship.

The application forms for the year 2006-07 should reach office of concerned Distt. Social Welfare Officers in case of students studying within the State and Directorate of Social Welfare Jammu in case of students studying outside the State by or before 30th of November 2006. (d) ‘‘Supply and stacking of various materials required for soil stabilization, GSB and WBM works as stone aggregate sizes 90-45 mm, 65-45mm, stone screening size 13.2 mm and sand between Km 0.00 and Km 3.00 on Gulmarg-Asha road in 32 BRTF sector under Project Beacon in J&K State." 2. Applicants must attach with their application an experience certificate of similar works executed during last three years and details of technical and financial resources. Applicants registered with BRO/MES/PWD/CPWD/Railway/Other Govt. Deptt. must also attach Registration Certificate from respective agencies.

3. The cost of tender forms/documents mentioned for each work at (a), (b) and (c) of para 1 above shall be in the form of demand draft from any nationalized bank in favour of Chief Engineer Project Beacon, payable at SBI, Rawalpora, Srinagar (J&K), Code No. 6868 which shall be attached to the application requesting issue of tender by the contractor. The DD shall be non-refundable if the application for issue of tender is accepted and tender documents are issued to the contractor after scrutiny and selection. However, it shall be returned to the applicant by the Accepting Officer in case the tender form is not issued. The contractor shall bear the cost of bank charges for procuring and encashing the bank draft and shall not have any claim whatsoever on this account on Govt.
